LIC & GIC Insurance examinations have always been popular in India and a lot of private firms have started provided training to individuals so they can become insurance agents in order to sell insurance policies. However still the three major Indian government undertaking insurance companies recruit their candidates for the jobs by conducting competitive exams.

A large majority of individuals apply for these exams to be employed in these Indian govt. undertaking insurance companies.
